Quality Education - SDG 4

Access to quality education is essential for the proper functioning of a sustainable society. Generally, education is mistakenly considered only a process that precedes entering the labor market. Education should be treated as a lifelong process, regardless of age. To this end, innovation and meritocracy, as well as conduct and empowerment, can be encouraged. To move towards this goal, school dropout rates must be reduced, and the educational system needs improvement, regardless of geographic location and field of study or background.

Sustainable development essentially means ensuring good conditions on this planet for future generations. Therefore, from the perspective of the 2030 Agenda, education is a fundamental theme.

Because good things must come at the right time, we act early to create a foundation for disadvantaged children to escape the captivity of their environment, to save their future, aspirations, and development, so that they become responsible adults, prepared for life, capable of contributing to socio-economic life. We are aware that a child's development depends on multiple factors, which is why we have adopted a holistic approach to create a favorable context for the development of children and young people in their living environment, covering both their needs for formal and non-formal education and the needs of their families, such as facilitating the receipt of educational, social, medical, etc., assistance for children in risky situations.

The word "SUPER" written in bold letters on a pink background.

Super

Super! is an art festival made by teenagers, full of short films, workshops, and more workshops. Super started in 2013, from the desire of some teenagers to have a supportive space where they could screen their films and meet their peers with similar passions. Then, over the years, Super grew into one of the most important non-formal education platforms in the country, with all these teenagers constantly encouraged to discover and deepen their artistic practices and their big questions and answers about the surrounding world. Super's activity especially complements the Romanian education system, which too rarely focuses its attention on the specific context in which students are formed, keeping the teacher-student interaction within the parameters of an outdated curriculum and a rigid, formal language that hinders and tenses understanding, instead of supporting it.

Asociatia Solutii Sustenabile

Sustainable Solutions Association is an NGO created to educate and, most importantly, to raise awareness among company leaders and individuals to take concrete actions to combat climate change. The primary tool used is imagery. Through video campaigns designed by experts in directing, filmmaking, and communication, we aim to touch upon those sensitive points that make us human and drive us to act. We want to inspire by presenting models of good practice and solutions that can be copied and applied in different contexts. Depending on your company's values and mission, target stakeholders, industry, and environmental and social impact, we can create a video communication strategy that helps you quickly achieve your social responsibility goals. To have a real positive impact on entrepreneurial, environmental, and climate education. Not just to sponsor an NGO.

ECO-FAMILIES: How can families and educators become ambassadors of sustainability?

In the context of current challenges posed by climate change, excessive resource consumption, and the need for a green transition at the European level, education for sustainability becomes a priority. However, for the change to be real and lasting, it must start within the family. Based on this idea, the European project ECO-FAMILIES aims to transform parents and educators into true promoters of a sustainable lifestyle. Funded through the Erasmus+ program, the project brings together organizations from Poland, Belgium, Cyprus, Romania, and Greece and aims to develop green skills for adults, educators, and families.
