Organized closet with clothes on hangers and vertically folded items in drawers.

More order, less waste: organizing the closet as a sustainable habit

Do we have too many clothes but nothing to wear? Although it doesn't seem so at first glance, reorganizing your closet has a direct impact on clothing consumption and reduces waste, helping us to be more sustainable. An organized closet does not mean perfection, but more clarity. See what you have, wear what you love, and buy more thoughtfully. Sort your clothes and you will discover unnecessary duplicates, fold them vertically instead of stacking them, and see everything at a glance; keep only seasonal clothes visible, and the rest in boxes. All these practical tips, plus many more, were provided during the latest Humana Hub workshop, a series of events organized by Humana People to People to promote sustainability in fashion.

Sustain Ability - From Insight to Impact

Sustain Ability, the Progresiv event dedicated entirely to sustainability, returns with its fourth edition under the theme From Insight to Impact. How can data become a solid foundation for the sustainable development of a business, and how can you increase profitability with a strategy based on a reduced environmental impact are questions we will find answers to on February 26, during the Sustain Ability conference. We will discuss the challenges companies face in transitioning to a low-impact operation as the integration of circular economy principles in businesses has lost momentum not only in Romania but globally as well. Moreover, 2026 brings a series of challenges for companies in Romania, including the European regulation on packaging and waste from packaging – PPWR. We will discuss the details of this regulation at Sustain Ability, what the implications are for businesses, and how local market players can align with the new requirements.During the event, we will also talk about food waste, how it can be limited, and what the circular economy looks like in retail.Last but not least, we will present relevant information regarding the financing of sustainable projects and how they can positively impact the financial performance of companies in the local landscape.eEco is a media partner.
