EN: Romania Joins the Global “Resilience in Nature Walk”
On 21 March 2026, Bucharest becomes part of a worldwide moment of reflection and reconnection through the Resilience in Nature Walk, a global initiative led by Inner Green Deal.

Organised locally by Diaspora Solidarity Group and facilitated by European Climate Pact Ambassador Teodora Akinola, the walk will bring together members of the diaspora, local communities, and climate advocates in IOR Park.

Meeting point: Platoul IOR - at the base (https://share.google/jyOCf3RWPvBLIWhcw)

Time: 12:00 PM

In 2024, 400 participants from 40 countries joined this global initiative. This year, facilitators in 22 countries are creating local spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with nature, and strengthen resilience, both individually and collectively.

At a time when climate anxiety, social fragmentation, and uncertainty are increasing, community-based engagement with nature offers a practical and accessible pathway to wellbeing and sustained climate commitment.

The walk is free and open to all.

Register by completing the form.

By walking together, we reaffirm a core principle of the European Climate Pact: climate action is not only about targets and transitions - it is about people, connection, and shared responsibility.
