Please read this document carefully before using eeco.ro.

  • Purpose: To increase awareness of climate change and sustainable development, and to sensitize the population and business leaders to concrete actions against global warming.

Accessing the platform (referred to as "we", "site", "platform", "eEco", "eeco.ro") implies unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Definition of Terms

Platform – websites owned or used by eEco, including social media pages:

These terms and conditions also apply to these pages.Visitor – a person who accesses eeco.ro without an account.

User – a person who creates an account on eeco.ro.

Account – the section accessible using email and password, which allows for publishing information.

Supplier – a legal entity offering sustainable products/services.

Community – a private group section where users can interact.

3. User Registration

To become a user, it is necessary to create an account using a valid email address and password. Subsequently, the user can personalize their profile (name, photo, etc.).The user has additional rights compared to a visitor, such as:

  • recommending suppliers, events, or communities
  • publishing reviews
  • participating in the eEco Community

4. Suppliers – Registration and Listing

To become a supplier:

  • create an account and use the "Recommend a supplier" button, or
  • send us a message via the Contact form.

A user or the platform administrator can list a supplier without their request, if the products/services meet eEco standards. We will attempt to obtain prior consent, but if you are listed without your consent and do not wish this, please send a request via the Contact form and we will remove you immediately.

5. Data Provision

Users and suppliers must provide complete and accurate data and update them when they change.

If the data are false/incomplete, the platform may suspend or close the account.

6. Listed Products and Services

The platform does not sell products. All presented products belong to external suppliers. The commercial relationship (sale, delivery, return, warranty) takes place directly between the client and the respective supplier.Listed services are:

  1. Services of external suppliers
  2. Services offered directly by eEco – listed in the "Collaborations" section

Contractual details regarding eEco services are established individually via email.

7. Warranties

The platform does not sell physical products, therefore it does not offer warranties.

Warranties are the sole responsibility of the suppliers.

8. Use of Information from the Platform

The information is intended exclusively for informing and interacting within the Community.

It is forbidden to use them for commercial purposes, collect data from other users, send unsolicited messages, or any other unauthorized use.

9. Prohibited Actions on the Platform

It is forbidden to publish or transmit materials that are:

  • obscene, violent, racist, defamatory
  • advertising outside dedicated sections
  • with explicit sexual content
  • containing viruses or harmful programs
  • spam / junk mail
  • for which you do not hold copyright
  • promoting false information or illegal activities
  • infringing the rights of other persons

eEco may delete impermissible content and may suspend or block involved accounts.

10. Copyright

All content on the platform belongs to eEco or is used with legal right. Users may not use, copy, or distribute content without our written consent.It is forbidden to use the trademarks, names or visual identity elements of eEco or its suppliers.Dissemination of information is permitted only with source attribution:

"According to information provided by eeco.ro, as of …", with a direct link.

11. Publication of Articles and Materials

By publishing content (text, video, photo, etc.) on the platform or in projects realized with eEco, you exclusively assign to us the copyright, without subsequent financial claims.

We may use the materials in any format: online, print media, presentations, social media, etc.If you wish to republish the material in another publication, you must mention the original source with a link.These rules also apply to collaborations, volunteering, and internship periods.

12. Participation in Podcasts, Interviews, Events

By participating in such formats, you exclusively assign to us the copyright over the recordings. We may use the materials in any form, without financial obligations.

13. User-Generated Content

Messages, comments, and materials sent or published by users are exclusively licensed to us, unlimited in time and space, including for promotional purposes.

This right remains valid even after the termination of user/supplier status.

14. Limitation of Liability

eEco is not liable for direct or indirect damages, financial losses, loss of profit or revenue resulting from cooperation or use of the platform.

We do not guarantee income generation through collaboration.

15. Reviews

Users can leave reviews for suppliers.

This tool must be used correctly, only if the service/product has been used.eEco may delete false or defamatory reviews and may block users who abuse the system.Reviews may be used by eEco for promotional purposes (social media, presentations, etc.).

16. Advertising

Direct marketing is based on consent or legitimate interest.

The platform uses affiliate links – purchases made through these links may generate commissions for eEco, at no extra cost to the user.

17. Privacy Policy

The processing of personal data is governed by the GDPR Policy, available here: [link to GDPR page].

18. Applicable Law

This document is governed by Romanian law.

Disputes are resolved amicably or through competent courts.

19. Other Provisions

eEco may unilaterally modify the content of the platform or this document, without prior notice. New rules apply from the moment of their publication on the site.
