Slow Coffee Festival with GoZero
From September 29 to October 1, the Slow Coffee Festival took place, where single-use cups were prohibited.
The GoZero team was the sustainability partner for the event, and together with AQUAVIA, we provided hydration stations and reusable bottles. Approximately 5,000 participants attended the festival over the three days. Water consumption was equivalent to 1500 PET bottles of 0.5 liters. Thus, we estimate that, together with the festival organizers, who provided reusable cups, our partners who used GoZero reusable cups and hydration stations, we saved 1,500 single-use bottles and between 25,000 - 30,000 single-use packages.
Thirty thousand plastic packages.
P.S. The festival was dedicated to coffee tasting, and a person tasted an average of about 6-10 coffees.
