The Aquaterra Ecological Society is a scientific NGO focused on ecology, education, study, and conservation of biodiversity, comprising experts from the University of Bucharest, the "Grigore Antipa" National Museum of Natural History, the Botanical Gardens in Iasi and Bucharest, the Research and Silviculture Arrangement Institute, and the Institute of Biology of the Romanian Academy.
