MED-Hubs: Blue Innovation in the Mediterranean
Interactive online workshop organized as part of the MED-Hubs Project, a EU co-funded initiative that supports innovation and interregional collaboration in the sustainable blue economy.
The Hacks will bring together decision-makers, innovators, researchers, SMEs, ports, stakeholders from fisheries, and coastal actors to discuss regional challenges, emerging trends, and solution opportunities in key sectors of the blue economy.
This session will focus on the testing ground for renewable marine energy, supporting innovators developing small-scale marine energy solutions.
What to expect:
The interactive 2-hour workshop will include:
- A presentation of the MED-Hubs project and opportunities for stakeholder engagement;
- A keynote presentation on blue economy trends and high-growth sectors, setting the strategic context for the session;
- An introduction to the relevant regional testing ground (Italy or Spain);
- An interactive discussion to gather participants' feedback on key challenges and potential solutions.
The insights gathered will directly contribute to shaping the design of the testing ground and future pilot activities.
