Romania Green Building Council
We are a non-profit, non-political association made up of organizations active throughout the country. We promote environmental responsibility and energy efficiency throughout a building's life cycle (from design and construction to operation and deconstruction). The Romanian Green Building Council (RoGBC) initiated the certification and training program to increase the level of competence in green building among professionals in the construction and related fields who wish to actively participate in the sustainable transformation of the built environment. The program was specifically designed to provide training in various specialized areas, considering that successful implementation of green building projects requires cooperation among experts from different fields. Taking into account green building market development models from other countries, as well as the increasing activity in this field in Romania, this certification is expected to enhance recognition and guarantee the competence of training participants in this domain.
