F.R.E.E is an official association registered in Romania and accredited by the government to provide social services and licensed for its reception center. Founded in 2013 after years of working with street children and in orphanages, the F.R.E.E association now works to rescue women and girls who are victims of sexual exploitation. Indeed, Romania is known as one of the main countries of origin for the sex industry in Europe, as well as a transit point and destination for human trafficking for forced prostitution. Our primary goal is to free, heal, and empower these sexually exploited women so that they can build the life and future they desire.
The association's mission is to reach women caught in or vulnerable to prostitution, to support those who want to break free from the sex trade and build a new life with dignity, to holistically restore the lives of the victims we encounter, to offer them alternatives, and ultimately, to prevent and raise awareness about the issue of human trafficking for sexual exploitation.
