Collecting Trash in Nature

share

The trash scattered everywhere in nature probably bothers all of us. Yet, it seems it never bothered me enough to actually join cleanup campaigns, either voluntarily or organized by various NGOs.

For the first time, I felt the need to do more and collect the waste I encountered during my mountain hikes. And for the first time, I no longer felt that doing so was pointless because there would always be dozens of other pieces of trash left behind anyway. Something has changed in my mindset. And I explain what in the video.

Why I now believe it makes sense to collect plastic bottles and beer cans, even if they aren't ours, even if we can't collect them all, even if a week later it's possible the situation will be the same after us.
