Conferință B Corp

Better Business Alliance is a non-profit organization that promotes the B Corp business model in Romania, aiming to help local companies meet standards of social responsibility and sustainability. The Alliance was initiated by B Corp consultants in Romania, Corina Radu, Cătălina Ticău, Cristina Tararache and Cristina Bîcîilă, with the support of Danone Romania and B Lab Europe, to create a local and regional network of sustainable and forward-thinking companies. The Alliance aims to develop a community of certified companies, those in the process of certification, or those aspiring to this status, united by a common goal: to bring value to communities, employees, and the environment. The Alliance will also be active in educating companies through the "BIA Accelerator" online program, facilitating the transfer of experience and knowledge between companies, including between large companies and startups, both from Romania and abroad.

The conference will include a series of presentations, discussions, and interactive workshops, offering participants the opportunity to learn from the experiences of certified B Corp companies and discover new strategies for integrating sustainability into business models. The event will feature speakers from Romania and neighboring countries. Alongside local companies that have already obtained B Corp certification, the conference will also bring together organizations that are in the full certification process, providing important insights into the benefits and challenges involved.
