The built environment is one of the main contributors to global carbon emissions, which is why the creation of sustainable materials and new construction methods is essential.
A variety of new products and systems are currently being developed, but much more needs to be done. At the same time, we must first understand and respect the biological and ecological specificity of each place, using methods such as generative tools for innovative design. Ultimately, we will be able to create a fusion between the biological element and inert systems for a future built environment based on bio-integration.
Embryon Atelier is a cultural project that aims to approach design from a human-centered perspective. In our vision, the user of space has the special responsibility of creating and maintaining a harmonious natural environment, and also fulfills a key role in the life of the community, implicitly generating the creation of valuable "cultural places" around them.
The comfortable living of such "places" is the objective of our team. To this end, Embryon Atelier's activity focuses on three priority directions: education, research, and design.
