Comme Avant is a company specializing in the production of artisanal cosmetics with O waste (zero waste) and quality clothing, all handmade.
The objective of the Comme Avant team is to facilitate the transition to using eco-friendly products in everyday life. Their cosmetics contain natural and organic ingredients.
By reducing exposure to and the use of unnecessary substances and packaging, the products are closer to nature and environmentally friendly even after use.
To avoid unnecessary containers and plastic, the company only sells solid products; soaps and shampoos are packaged solely in kraft paper, and cream, deodorant, toothpaste, and make-up remover are placed in a cardboard box to protect them during transport. All packaging is recyclable and biodegradable.
To be labeled "organic" in cosmetics, many criteria must be met. One of the most important criteria is the percentage of certified organic raw materials.
Comme Avant products contain very few ingredients in their composition. Some are labeled COSMOS Organic (the famous organic label), and others COSMOS Natural (guaranteeing 100% ingredients of natural origin).
The ingredients used have been very carefully selected, using organic materials whenever possible.
The Slow Cosmetics mention is the only professional award for cosmetics that focuses on both formulas AND the marketing model and claims of a brand. Awarded by the Slow Cosmetic Association since 2013, this award is distinguished by its methodology, freely inspired by that of the Michelin Guide: volunteers from the Slow Cosmetic Association specializing in packaging decryption and natural cosmetology examine brands that have submitted an application or have been noticed by the profession.
Comme Avant received a 2-star rating, which means we meet over 75% of their criteria.
In addition, the 3-star mention is only for cosmetic brands that produce at least 20% of their ingredients, such as through agricultural activities, distillation, etc.
No ingredient that has been the subject of any controversy regarding health or environmental issues is used.
